Revista de Psiquiatria Consiliar e de Ligação is published by Grupo Português de Psiquiatria Consiliar/Ligação e Psicossomática with its own Editorial Commitee. It is a multidisciplinary research journal, covering all the aspects of the linkage between Psychiatry and related specialties like Psychology, Nursing or Social Working, Medical Primary Care and General Hospital. The journal emphasizes the patient-centered model to illness, giving importance to the dialogical approach with the patient, and tries to increase interest in all the fields of the consultation-liaison activity: psychoneuroimmunoendocrinological correlations, life events, coping mechanisms, personality traits and psychological mediators, psychological and psychiatric response, methodologies of evaluation, prevention attitudes and therapies. The Revista de Psiquiatria Consiliar e de Ligação publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the editor, special articles, books review and news.
